Mr. Corrado and six Eliot students traveled to Bethel, CT last Saturday to compete in the National History Bee. Nathanial Fry took 1st place for the 5th grade and Quintin Fiengo took 3rd place for 6th grade. They both qualified to go to the national round in Virginia in June, and Nathanial also qualified for the international round in Rome, Italy in July. Nathanial and Gavin also participated in the geography and science bees and both qualified to move on to the national round. Other Eliot students who participated this year include Ben Wininger, Brooke Wininger, Hailey Vincelette, Gavin McCollom, Molly Billings, and Lily Guarnieri.
